Sports

Gems is a Specialist Resource Provision for children with social communication needs including autism and mild to moderate learning difficulties. Pupils attend mainstream lessons and activities and are supported by experienced staff; there is a sensory room and staff are trained to support and teach children with additional needs; they work with Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapists; Development Matters and SCERTS framework are used.
Reception application dates are published with closing and offer dates; In Year Admissions are accepted if spaces are available (Year 2-6 currently have spaces); when oversubscribed, priority is given in accordance with the Local Authority's Admissions Policy.
