Curriculum Highlights

Reading is at the heart of Buckingham’s curriculum and Reading for Pleasure is a key indicator of future success. A systematic, synthetic phonics programme is used to teach decoding. Ambitious vocabulary is identified and taught to access the curriculum. Attachment Aware School with the PATHS Programme to support emotional well-being. Pastoral support helps pupils access the curriculum and supports social and emotional development.

Breakfast Club opens from 7.30 a.m. to 8.50 a.m. (£5.00 per session). After School Club operates from 3.20 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (£10.00 per session) with an optional extension to 6.00 p.m. for £2.00.
