Curriculum Highlights

IGCSEs are offered in core subjects (Mathematics IGCSE; English Language IGCSE; English Literature IGCSE; Biology IGCSE; Chemistry IGCSE; Physics IGCSE) plus one Modern Foreign Language (IGCSE) or Italian (GCSE). Core and option subjects include Art, Design Technology, Drama, French IGCSE, Geography, German IGCSE, History, Latin, Greek (top set only, studied with Latin), Music, Religious Studies, Spanish IGCSE, Italian GCSE. Each student has one PE lesson, one PSHE lesson and a Games afternoon per week. Latin is compulsory for First and Second Year; Classical Greek is offered from Third Year to top Latin set. GCSE and A Level pathways across Art, Biology, Chemistry, Classics, Computer Science, Economics, English, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Physics, Geography, History, Government & Politics, and more as listed in department pages. GCSE Curriculum emphasizes breadth and includes IGCSEs and international qualifications; the school provides a broad range of languages and STEM subjects to prepare for Sixth Form study.
