Marymount uses rolling admissions with an emphasis on holistic assessment. Grade 6 (Year 7) entry involves an Assessment Day in November prior to entry, including an online aptitude test, small group activities and an individual interview. Assessment Day for September 2026 entry will take place on Friday 14 November 2025. For Grades 7–10 entry, assessments occur on a rolling basis and include written tests in Maths and English, and an interview with a senior member of staff and the MYP Coordinator. Grade 11 entry involves written tests in Maths and English and an interview with the IBDP Coordinator; a Grade 12 entry is considered on a case-by-case basis if the student is already in the IB DP and the timetable can be offered. A reference from the student’s current school may be requested for all entry grades.
