Vita et Pax has a Christian tradition where care and respect is shown to everyone. The school actively promotes British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs, and welcomes children of all faiths and cultures.
Headmaster Darren May welcomes visitors and emphasises a rigorous yet enriching education, with strong Christian ethos, values of respect, discipline and tradition, and small classes that nurture talent and character.

The school identifies barriers to learning through its SEN policy and works with parents to create a tailored Independent Education Plan using a graduated approach (assess, plan, do and review) with regular reviews.
Admissions process includes: (1) booking a private tour, (2) submitting a Registration Form with a £75 registration fee, (3) attending a taster session, (4) interview with a Governor and Head/Senior staff, and (5) receiving an offer within one week of the taster. International applicants are welcome and undergo the same assessment process.
EYFS fees are VAT-exempt. Nursery and EYFS fees remain VAT-exempt; 1 January 2025: tuition fees for Reception–Year 6 are subject to 20% VAT. Nursery fees include meals; additional items such as trips and materials are listed separately.
