Breakfast club 7.40am–8.30am (cost per day including breakfast and supervision is £6). After-school childcare is not provided by the school, but an after-school service is available Monday–Friday from 3.30pm–6.00pm exclusively for PGHS pupils through a third-party provider, M&M Childcare.

SEND Provision

SEND provision is integrated into all aspects of school life and is described as individualised, collaborative and proactive. Support includes in-class differentiation, small group or one-to-one interventions, access arrangements for assessments, regular reviews with parents and pupils, and referrals to external professionals when appropriate.

Admissions Criteria

Main entry points are Reception and Year 7; ad-hoc places may be available in other year groups. For 11+ admissions, Year 5 assessments in maths and English may determine placement without the 11+ exam if a place is offered; external candidates sit the ISEB 11+ exam. Scholarships may be considered via 11+ examinations, which are required if a scholarship is sought. All applicants are interviewed by a senior member of staff.
