St Michael's is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school. SIAMS and OFSTED inspections are referenced; RE is designed to enhance religious literacy and be taught across the major world faiths; Collective Worship is based on Christian traditions with space for reflection and dialogue; The Worship Policy follows guidelines of Education Acts and aligns with the Church of England trust deed; the school aims to enable pupils to be religiously literate and to hold informed conversations about faith.

Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Jade-Simone Bacon welcomes visitors and describes St Michael’s as a community focused on enabling children to be a 'force for positive change', with a Christian ethos and the motto 'Seek Joy in Service'. The curriculum is purposefully designed to value and celebrate each child and to provide opportunities for outdoor learning and whole-child experiences.

Breakfast Club and After School Club are run by J&L Out of School Ltd. Breakfast Club runs from 7:45am to 8:50am with a breakfast provided; After School Club offers Early session (3:20pm–5:00pm), Late session (4:30pm–6:00pm) and Full session (3:20pm–6:00pm). Prices: Breakfast Club £5.50 (regular), £6.50 (ad‑hoc); After School Club £10.00–£14.00 depending on session and booking type; 10% sibling discount; childcare vouchers and Tax Free Childcare accepted; Enrolment forms via office email; contact John Geers for enrolment.

SEND Provision

We strive to meet the needs of all pupils. All staff are aware of SEND and receive high quality information and training. We identify pupils who are making limited progress and provide targeted interventions and support. Parents are kept fully informed about the SEND process and their child’s learning throughout the year. We are a fully inclusive school with strong links to Local Authority and Health Professionals. Admissions Criteria

Nursery 2026 offers Foundation Church places or Open Community places with 15 hours (9am–12pm) or 30 hours extended provision (availability subject). Reception 2026 requires an Enfield Admissions online application; Foundation Church places require a Supplementary Information Form with Supporting Reference; Open Community places do not require the Supplementary Information Form. Applications can be submitted by email; school tours are available by appointment; In-year admissions procedures apply; Appeals timetable published May 2026.
