The school follows the Code of Practice from the Department for Education (DfE). The school follows guidance on SEND as laid down in this code of practice and, with the Governors have agreed a SEND policy. A child has special educational needs if s/he has difficulty in any of the following areas: Communication and interaction; Cognition and learning; Behaviour, emotional and social development; Sensory and/or physical needs. The school is committed to early identification and intervention to ensure all children have full access to an appropriate curriculum. At all stages parents/carers are informed and involved and the school works closely with external support services. Provision for English as an Additional Language is provided. Nursery offers 15 hours funded provision. The school runs Nursery and accepts children from the term after they are 3 years old. Reception admissions are handled via the London Borough of Enfield. The school admits up to 60 pupils per year group (PAN 60). In Sept 2025 the school became a single-form-entry school. When applications exceed places, admissions are according to the Admissions Policy. Appeals procedures are available through the same processes described by the governing body. There is mention of a historic proposal to reduce PAN to 30 places per year from Sept 2026.
