Oversubscription criteria (in order): 1) Children in public care (including those looked after and those with adopted or special guardianship orders); 2) Children whose parent/carer or grandparent are regular worshippers of St Michael at Bowes or St Cuthbert’s (written clergy reference required); 3) Children whose families are regular worshippers of another Christian denomination (written minister’s reference required); 4) Children who have step/half/foster siblings attending the school; 5) Children whose families are regular members of another world faith (written evidence required); 6) Remaining places are allocated by nearness to the home along the shortest safe walking route. If oversubscribed, tie-breakers include: (a) Children who attend Tottenhall Infant School; (b) Children who live nearest to the school. Regular worship is defined as at least once a month for a year.
