Bush Hill Park Primary School identifies and supports pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in line with the SEND Code of Practice (0–25, 2015). The school works with families, staff and external professionals to understand each child’s needs, gathering information from nurseries, previous schools, parents and specialist services to plan appropriate support. If a teacher has a concern, they can refer to the SENCO or Inclusion Team, and support may include classroom strategies, targeted interventions or advice from external professionals. Regular pupil progress meetings and baseline assessments monitor progress and inform provision.
