Hazelwood has an Inclusion Team (Inclusion Manager, SENDCo, Learning Mentor) and provides wide range of tailored provisions: visual timetables in every room; targeted teaching and interventions; 1:1 and group teaching; Orchard Provision for younger children with ASD and a sensory room; SEND support at Lunchtime; pastoral support from Learning Mentor; Happy Feet; Tim’s Group; visual symbols for communication; Speech and Language support; and highly trained staff to support learners with additional needs.
