Headteacher Polly Baylis welcomes visitors to Mora Primary School, describing Mora as a place of learning for all where every child can reach their potential. The message emphasizes learning beyond the classroom, enrichment through the arts and music, outdoor activity, and strong partnership with parents.
Wraparound care is provided at Mora through the BASE (Body and Soul Education) space run in partnership with Streetz Ahead. The BASE team offers one-to-one or small group support, appointment-based talks (Touching BASE), a BASE Supervisor and a BASE therapist, and works with parents/carers to provide support with consent and regular updates.
Mora provides information about SEND in line with the four broad 'areas of need' (Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, and Sensory and Physical Needs).
