Our school will provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where everyone will be inspired to do their best. Our pupils will be guided towards a loving relationship with God, through example, prayer and the teachings of Christ. Sacred Heart is a Catholic Primary School where we serve the Catholic community of Whetstone. We welcome children and staff of all faiths where we celebrate and learn from one another. We follow our mission statement of ‘Learning together in God’s love.’

Sacred Heart is a two-form entry Catholic Primary School in the London Borough of Barnet with over 400 children and more than 60 staff. It aims to provide an outstanding education, foster a love of learning, build strong partnerships with families, and uphold a high standard of behaviour and Catholic ethos.

Curriculum Highlights

Religious Education is the core subject in the curriculum and 10% of curriculum time is devoted to the teaching of Religious Education. Pupils will learn about Sikhism, Islam, Hinduism and Judaism. The school emphasises Catholic Life and Mission with charitable activities such as Mini Vinnies, Cafod's Big Lent Walk and other Catholic Social Teaching aligned initiatives.
