The Barnet Syllabus for Religious Education (November 2018) is the basis for our curriculum. Plans show key questions for teachers to use as discussion points and the children visit local places of worship (e.g., St Andrew’s Parish Church, Woodside Park Synagogue, North Finchley Mosque, Hare Krishna Temple in Neasden, Nanak Darbar Sikh Temple in Arnos Grove). Visitors and assemblies celebrate key festivals; biennially infants take part in KS1 religious Christmas production.

We have a whole-school approach to Special Educational Needs (SEN). The SEN Information Report outlines what kinds of SEN are provided, how pupils are identified, how parents are involved, how assessments and reviews are conducted, how support is provided, which outside agencies are worked with, and information about the Barnet Local Offer. The Special Educational Needs Coordinator is Mrs Sasha Sperber ([email protected]).
All admissions are offered according to the London Borough of Barnet’s criteria for admission to Community Schools. The Local Authority Admissions Section handles all admissions for Reception and in-year groups; the maximum class size is 30. Further details are provided on the Barnet admissions terms and conditions page.
