Curriculum Highlights

Broad Curriculum WALT (We Are Learning To:) Reading is at the heart of the curriculum; daily phonics instruction (synthetic phonics), 5 new sounds per week, books matched to phonic knowledge, reading with an adult. Some subject areas taught by specialists; topic-led approach across year groups. Oracy is central to learning; emphasis on speaking fluently and feedback/reflection. Wraparound Care

Extended school care starts from 7.45am with Breakfast club. After school care runs from 3.25 to 6.00pm in the Dining Hall. Book and pay via the School Gateway app.

SEND Provision

SEND and EAL provisions include high quality learning experiences in an inclusive environment, identifying and monitoring pupils with SEND, providing targeted interventions and classroom-based support, liaising with outside agencies, and regular SEND meetings to review progress with parents.

Admissions Criteria

There is a separate application process for admission to Reception - Year 6, co-ordinated by the council. Please contact the local authority if you wish to apply for a Reception to Year 6 place.

Financial Information

Nursery 2025–2026 fees: Autumn term £1516; Spring term £1516; Summer term £758; Total for 3 terms £4548. A £758 deposit (non-refundable) is required for 30 hours funded childcare. A £100 deposit may be required for 30 hours free childcare applications. Reception to Year 6 admissions are coordinated by the local authority; apply through the council.
