Headteacher James Heale warmly welcomes visitors, describes Allfarthing as a two-form, inclusive school focused on excellence and wellbeing, and expresses honour and excitement to lead the school, inviting people to explore the site and attend open days.

Curriculum Highlights

Music lessons structured around five interconnected strands: Performing, Composing, Listening, History of Music, Dimensions of Music. Art and Design follows a four-strand approach (Making skills, Formal elements, Knowledge of artists, Evaluating) with sketchbooks and knowledge organisers. Geography curriculum covers Locational knowledge, Place knowledge, Human and physical geography, Geographical skills and fieldwork, with trips and VR. History curriculum uses a spiral approach with enquiry-based units and a strong emphasis on chronology and disciplinary concepts. Computing is embedded across the curriculum with about one hour per week dedicated to computing, using iPads, Chromebooks and VR, and with a central focus on online safety.

Allfarthing Primary School is committed to providing high quality, inclusive teaching which will enable all children, including those identified as having a special educational need or a disability (SEND), to make the best possible progress at school.
