Breakfast Club runs from 7.30 am to 8.30 am with breakfast included. After School Club runs from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Fruit and freshly prepared sandwiches are served from 4.45 pm. After School Activity Clubs take place at the end of the school day.

SEND Provision

Gatehouse is committed to inclusion and SEND provision. The SEND Team is led by the SENCo and includes Specialist Teachers for Specific Learning Difficulties, SEND Teaching Assistants, a dedicated Nurture Teacher, and collaboration with external professionals (Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapist). The school follows current statutory guidance (SEND Code of Practice 0–25, 2014 Act, Equality Act 2010) and uses targeted interventions such as reading recovery, spelling programmes, sensory circuits, and maths intervention groups. Admissions Criteria

Gatehouse is a non-selective independent school with Nursery entry from age 3. Nursery admissions involve visiting, Registration (£204), birth certificate and Right to Reside documentation, and a deposit (£1300) for places from 2026 onwards (£800 offset against first term’s fees, £500 refunded after final term). Nursery places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reception places are not typically open for external application as all children move from Nursery to Reception; occasional places may be available in Years 1–6. Tours/open mornings are available through the Admissions Manager. Waiting lists apply if no place is available.
