RE follows the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham’s Religious Education Agreed Syllabus (AS), Living Difference III. For Reception to Year 6, the syllabus is statutory and the recommended teaching hours are 36 hours per year for KS1 and 45 hours per year for KS2. At Wendell Park, Reception engages with Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism; KS1/KS2 study Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism and Humanism. The curriculum uses enquiry skills (Communicate, Apply, Enquire, Contextualise, Evaluate) and includes visits to places of worship to deepen understanding. Parents have the right to withdraw their child from RE lessons; further information is available on the RE policy and related materials.

Breakfast Club: before-school care available from 8 a.m. to the start of the school day; the Breakfast Club entrance is on Stronsa Road W12 9LB; a healthy breakfast and play facilities are provided; registration forms are available from the school office and via the Breakfast Club Forms link; places are limited and should be booked in advance. After School Care: Aktiva Camps provide after-school care at Wendell Park Primary; after-school care runs from 3.30pm - 6.15pm Monday to Thursdays and 2.40pm - 6.15pm on Fridays; the After School Care entrance is on Stronsa Road, W12 9LB; bookings can be made via the Aktiva website; holiday care is run every day in the summer holidays at Brackenbury Primary School; for further details, costing and booking information please see Aktiva website.

Any child with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) naming Wendell Park Primary School will be allocated a place through the SEN procedures.
