Parish clergy lead Collective Worship either as an assembly in school or a school service in church every Wednesday. The vicar is a member of the school governing body and several other governors are appointed by the parochial church council.

St Paul’s is a one-form entry school with 30 places per year. Up to 50% of places are allocated under Foundation (Church) Criteria with the remainder under Open Criteria. If a child has a Statement of Educational Need or an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan naming the school, they are offered a place. Foundation and Open allocations are determined by proximity (nearest first); ties are resolved by random allocation. Foundation criteria require a Supplementary Information Form. Deferred entry, in-year admissions, and late applications are described in detail in the admissions policy.
There are charges for after-school care; the school is a voluntary aided school and donations to the School Maintenance Fund are encouraged but not required; for details contact the school office.
