St George the Martyr is a Church of England Primary School with a strong Christian ethos that is truly inclusive. The school emphasises equality and respect, close links with St George’s Church, and regular clergy-led Collective Worship and services at St George’s Church during Christian festivals. The distinctive nature of our approach to education is grounded in explicit Christian values, collective worship and Religious Education.
Ofsted 2024 judged the school to be Outstanding in every area. The head of school emphasises a nurturing, inclusive ethos and a commitment to inspirational and productive learning to prepare children for the next stage of their education.
After-school childcare until 6.00pm at Coram’s Fields. Staff from St George the Martyr walk the children across to the Playcentre at 3.45pm. Standard rate is £13 per day; discounts are available for low-income families at £7 per day. For further details about fees please contact Kate; [email protected]. School fees: The Breakfast Club costs £1 per day. For after-school care, Coram’s Fields operates until 6.00pm with fees of £13 per day (discounts to £7 per day for low-income families). Bookings for Coram’s Fields must be made directly with Coram’s Fields (not through the school).
