Understanding EBacc Sciences Percentage

This metric shows the percentage of students achieving a grade 5 or above in the science component of the English Baccalaureate. Sciences form one of the five EBacc pillars and are essential for STEM pathways.

What Counts as EBacc Science

Students can fulfil the science requirement through: - Combined Science (Trilogy): Two GCSEs covering all three sciences - Triple Science: Separate Biology, Chemistry, and Physics GCSEs - Computer Science: Can count as one of the two required science GCSEs
