St Herbert’s RC Primary School is a Catholic school with Christ at the centre of all that the school does. Religious Education is followed in line with the Catholic Directory as specified by the Bishops Conference of England and Wales, and prayer and liturgy are central to daily life. The school aims to meet pupils’ needs through a faith-informed, broad and balanced curriculum, with liturgical activities such as Mass, whole school assemblies and class Prayer and Liturgy sessions; Pupil Chaplains lead weekly Advent reflections and Holy Week experiences are part of Lent. The school emphasises living its faith as part of its mission.
