St Luke’s CE Primary School is a Church of England Primary School with very strong links to its church and clergy team at Langworthy Community Church; children also attend a school service at St Luke’s Church in Weaste several times a year; the school’s ethos and vision are rooted in its Church of England foundation and Thrive CE Academy Trust values.
On behalf of the pupils, staff, parents and governors of St Luke’s CE Primary School I would like to welcome you to a school community where ‘Belonging Believing Becoming’ permeates everything that we do.
St Luke’s CE Primary School uses a child-centred, staged SEND approach with an ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ cycle. Most needs are met by high-quality classroom teaching (Quality First Teaching). SEND provision is in addition to and different from usual classroom provision and is coordinated by the SENDCo. A SEND Support Plan is written and progress is monitored, with involvement of outside agencies when needed, and regular parent/carer communication.
Priority will be given to children living nearest to the school.
