Headteacher Siobhan Bentley welcomes visitors and describes Callands as having a warm, friendly atmosphere with high expectations. She emphasises purposeful learning linked to pupils’ experiences so they are engaged, challenged, proud and develop into effective problem solvers and communicators.
No on-site wraparound care; neighbours Little Learners are used by some families for wraparound needs.
Callands Primary Academy’s SEND provision is described in the SEN section. SENDCo is Mrs Bate ([email protected]). SEND information covers SEND needs and resources (including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and related supports) and directs to Warrington’s Local Offer for SEND.
