"Belong, Believe, Achieve, Grow"
Headteacher Ms. Raha Razeghi welcomes families and emphasizes nurturing every child’s potential, strong partnerships with the Circle Trust and community, and fostering a learning environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired.
The school provides SEND support through universal, targeted, and complex provision. Universal provision is high-quality teaching; targeted provision includes Read Write Inc phonics, Master Reader (Year 2–6), PiXL therapies, and small-group/1:1 interventions; complex provision covers individualized interventions and close liaison with parents. Assessments, data tracking, and collaboration with families guide ongoing provision and review of SEND plans.
From February 2025 The Hawthorns became an academy within The Circle Trust. Admissions arrangements are determined by Wokingham Borough Council, with published oversubscription criteria and processes for in-year admissions, waiting lists, and appeals. The Circle Trust serves as the Admissions Authority for trust schools.
