Foundations for LIFE School is a mixed 8-16 independent specialist provision serving Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. It has a capacity for 32 pupils onsite from any local authority. All pupils will have SEMH and/or ADHD and/or ASC identified as a primary need and will have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) in place to be considered for a place. Referrals are made by the Local Authority to the Head Teacher; the Head Teacher and SENCo will work with LA and parents to assess fit and arrange visits if it is possible to meet the pupil’s needs.
