Whitburn Village Daycare provides 2-5 year old spaces with government funded 15 hours for eligible 2- to 4-year-olds and up to 30 hours of funded childcare for working parents during term time. Daycare offers fee paying places and wrap around care before and after the school day, and may operate during school holidays. Daycare hours are 8am-5:45pm all year round (50 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and Christmas). A wrap around session from 2:45pm-3:15pm for Nursery children costs £5. More information on funding is available via the Best Start in Life government site; and interested parents can complete a form to arrange a place.
