Admissions Criteria

Claystone School accepts referrals for children aged 4–11 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and a primary diagnosis of autism; may have additional needs such as sensory processing, speech and language issues, pathological demand avoidance, learning difficulties or specific learning difficulties; referrals typically come from parents or local authorities. After an assessment (which may take place at the current school or at Claystone), an offer to assess is made; if needs can be met, a visit to the school may be arranged, followed by an offer letter to the local authority with starting dates and fees, and a post-admission review within the first 12 weeks.” ,
