Religious Education uses Discovery RE to deliver the Lancashire Agreed Syllabus; RE is designed to reflect the religious profile of Lancashire and Blackpool; lessons are weekly across all years, with Christianity studied for at least 50% of the allocated time and units on Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Humanism; parents have a right to withdraw their child from part or all of RE, though the school provides an open-minded, inclusive approach and does not aim to indoctrinate.
SEND provision is coordinated by the Special Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo), Miss C Singleton; contact via [email protected] or 01253 353034; the school provides SEND & Inclusion resources and inclusion for disadvantaged children.
