Welcome to Hallwood Park. The Headteacher describes the school as a nurturing, community-focused environment that values relationships, academic excellence and pupil wellbeing. The school aims to broaden horizons, develop cultural capital, and promote the STRIVE values (Self-motivation, Teamwork, Resilience, Independence, Versatility, and Effort). Achievements highlighted include 82% of Year 1 pupils passing the Phonics Screening Check (100% by the end of Year 2), 55% of Year 4 pupils achieving full marks in the Multiplication Check, KS2 Maths results at 86% age-related expectations, and attendance improving to 96%. The Headteacher invites visitors to the school.
Miss Binks is our Special Educational Needs (SEN) Co-ordinator (SENCO). She works with teachers, pupils, parents and external professionals, to ensure that children’s needs are met. We are proud of our inclusive approach to education and believe passionately in helping all children to flourish and develop during their time in our school.
