Curriculum Highlights

The curriculum at Yorkswood Primary School is a bespoke curriculum, designed for our children and relevant to our local area, reflecting local history, cultures and communities. The curriculum is broad, balanced and culturally rich and is designed to provide children with engaging contexts through which to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of the world. The curriculum is based on the 2014 National Curriculum throughout. MAT Curriculum Design is driven by six key principles of curriculum design: Inclusive, Experiential, Resilience, Progressive, Ethical, Adaptive.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Brambles at Yorkswood provides wrap-around care. A Breakfast Club starts at 8am. The school day is 8.40am–3.30pm with a Friday partial closure from 1.30pm–3.30pm; Brambles wrap-around care is available.

Admissions Criteria
