Welcome to Laburnum Primary School. Head Teacher Ben Bardell emphasises a knowledge-rich curriculum that enables pupils to know and do more over time, with learning enhanced through educational visits, a strong focus on positive values, building respectful relationships, and an openness to listen and celebrate successes with families.
Laburnum’s SEND provision is described as inclusive by design for pupils with a wide range of needs. The SEND team is led by SENDCo Laura Smith. An Additional Needs Referral Form is used to coordinate support, and contact details provided include [email protected] and [email protected] (David Washington, Director of Inclusions and SEND).
Laburnum Nursery offers 15- and 30-hour places. Parents can pay for additional half-day and lunch sessions where relevant. A daily supervision fee is charged.
