Welcome to Eastburn Primary School. The Headteacher, Mr David Wilson, highlights the school's pride in its achievements, a dedicated team of staff and governors, emphasis on safeguarding, partnership with parents, and British Values, inviting families to explore the website and feel as proud of the school as they do.
Eastburn Primary School is a fully inclusive mainstream school. It uses a four-area framework to support pupils with SEND: Communication & Interaction (including ASC/SLCN), Cognition & Learning (including SpLD/MLD/SLD/PMLD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), and Sensory and/or Physical needs. The school follows a structured Assess-Plan-Do-Review process with parents/carers, and, when needed, may involve external professionals (e.g., Bradford SCIL, educational psychologist, speech and language therapist, school nurse). Information about SEND is supported by the Local Offer for Bradford and the school's SEND Information Report and SEND Strategy. The school’s SENDCo is Mrs Ruth McMeekin, with governance and touchpoints through Moorlands Learning Trust.
