Clubs
Sports
Lunchtime and after-school clubs are offered; after-school clubs run for four sessions and a charge is made depending on the cost of tuition and resources required to run the club.
SEND provision is coordinated by the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), Christine Carter. The SENCO oversees SEND support with Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants, using Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycles and providing adaptations (e.g., individualised/visual timetables, intervention programmes) and access to external agencies as needed. The Governing Body has overall responsibility for SEND; the school works with Educational Psychologists, Behaviour Support, Occupational Therapists, GPs, Speech and Language Therapists, Paediatricians, Physiotherapists, the 0-19 Team, Parenting Support, CHUMS and Chiltern’s Outreach Support. Parents can raise concerns via the class teacher, SENCO, or Headteacher, following the school’s complaints procedure if needed.
Admissions arrangements for 2025/26 and beyond include In-Year Applications with waiting lists and oversubscription criteria. The Local Governing Body determined the 2026 admission arrangements (removed reference to statements replaced by EHCPs). The deadline for applications is 15 January 2026. National Offer Day is 16 April 2026. Waiting lists remain active throughout the academic year and are ranked by oversubscription criteria. Paper copies of arrangements can be requested from the school office. The school is part of Kingsbridge Educational Trust and uses the CBC Schools Admissions Service.
