Curriculum Highlights

Reading is at the heart of our curriculum. Reading-rich environment with a beautiful, well-stocked library and a reading spine guiding essential reading. We aim to ensure all children become fluent, confident readers who love to read a range of books.

SEND Provision

Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are fully included in the life of the school. Their learning needs are identified accurately and known by staff. Resources are carefully shaped to help these pupils access the same curriculum as their classmates. Pupils with SEND achieve as well as others in the school.

Admissions Criteria

Each school has its own catchment area and a ‘standard number’ of 90. All children who live within the catchment zone are entitled to a place. Out-of-zone admissions are welcomed provided there is room within the standard number or with special approval from the Local Education Authority. Details of the school’s catchment area are available via Wirral’s Catchment Area Finder; Wirral’s Coordinated Scheme for Primary Admissions (25/26) applies.
