Admissions Criteria

Admissions to Burley Oaks Primary School are coordinated by Bradford Council. Children are admitted to Reception in the September following their fourth birthday; deferment/part-time entry options exist. There is an admission limit of 60 places per year group. Applications for a primary school place are made online via www.bradford.gov.uk/admissions with a deadline of 15 January 2026 for births between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022. Parents may list up to five preferred schools and should visit schools for information. The Council handles most queries; school staff can assist with the process.
