Ashlands is a two form entry state primary school set in Ilkley, with capacity for two classes of 30 in each year group. Children are admitted to Nursery the term after their third birthday and to Reception in the September of the school year in which they reach the age of five. The admission process is managed by Moorlands Learning Trust on behalf of Bradford Council. Open Days are held in November each year. For 2025-2026 admissions, Bradford Council pages provide the application timelines and documents; online applications typically open 17 November and close 15 January for the next entry. In-year admissions are dealt with by the local authority, and appeals are handled by Bradford Council. Details and links to admission arrangements, priority areas, and related guidance are provided by Bradford Council.
