Head Teacher Louise de Graaff describes Fairhaven as a place of growth and a path to excellence, emphasising nurturing every child, fostering curiosity and resilience, and guiding each child to achieve their personal best.
Wraparound care is available: Breakfast Club before school from 7:45am; After School Club runs from the end of the school day until 17:45; Lunchtimes and before school and after school childcare are NOT included in the 30 hour entitlement; a cooked meal is available for an additional charge.

Nursery admissions are allocated by date of birth order with priority to local area residents and those with siblings in school; a place in Nursery does not automatically guarantee a full-time place in school. Reception admissions require children to be 5 by 31 August; an application pack is sent to allow selection of order of preference. Separate admission arrangements are administered through Dudley Council.
