Welcome to Stone Lodge Therapeutic School. Ollie Sharp - Principal. We are an independent specialist school with a fully integrated therapeutic ethos. Our core values of care, understanding and ambition are fundamental to our support of children with additional needs and skills.
Stone Lodge Therapeutic School admits pupils aged 11-17 with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and main presenting needs in Social, Emotional and Mental Health or Autism Spectrum Conditions. Placements are funded by the Local Authority in which a pupil resides, and upon admittance the school will be named in Section I of the pupil’s EHCP. An admissions panel considers suitability and, if appropriate, invites for a tour. A robust assessment is conducted to determine whether a placement can be offered. If Stone Lodge cannot admit, the team will signpost to alternative schools. Formal Local Authority consultations must be conducted by the Local Authority in which the pupil lives. A bespoke transition plan is created once a placement is agreed.
