SEND Provision

Sturminster Newton High School provides SEND support through Wave 1 universal inclusive teaching, Wave 2 targeted interventions (e.g., in-class support, small-group withdrawal, 1:1 literacy support, and targeted English as an Additional Language support), and Wave 3 specialist interventions. Additional external services may include Educational Psychologist, SENSS, CAMHS, Speech and Language Therapy, and Hearing/Visual Impairment teams.
