Full-time and Part-Time placements for Alternative Provision Tailored curriculum planned carefully by fully qualified and experienced teachers Therapeutic approaches to learning centred around emotional wellbeing Pastoral offer including the 5 Ways to Wellbeing (Connect; Be Active; Take Notice; Keep Learning; Give) Reintegration and transitional support to mainstream or specialist education Instructional coaching and training for staff and parents on making reasonable adjustments to promote inclusion SENDSCOPE coaching and training for schools on cognitive science concepts (working memory, dual coding, retrieval) to support learning Learning environment focused on resilience, effective communication, positive relationships, theory of mind and emotional wellbeing Focus on Literacy and Numeracy skills and metacognition to improve curriculum access

SEND Provision

SENDSCOPE is an Independent Special School offering placements for students who have a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND). SENDSCOPE’s capacity includes up to 32 KS3 and KS4 students aged 11 to 15 years. Students are referred by schools and local education authorities from across Merseyside.
