"I have come that they may have life and have it to the full."
As a Joint Church School our Christian faith is at the heart of all we do. We recognise our joint faith traditions and distinctiveness through our Religious Education curriculum which enables our children to develop their social and moral values in all they do. We are proud of our outstanding acts of Daily Collective Worship which are rooted in both the Catholic and Anglican traditions.
The welcome messages describe Christ the King as a happy, caring and thriving environment where all children are encouraged to be their best, with emphasis on the school’s Christian ethos.

Reception applications are handled by Cheshire East Council (contact 0300 123 5012). In-year applications can be made to the school when places are available. If there are more applications than places, the published over-subscription criteria will be applied. Applicants are informed of the outcome within 15 school days (aiming for 10). There is a right of appeal to an independent panel if the application is unsuccessful. For baptised Catholics or those with a parent worshipping at St Barnabas or who are regular worshippers in the Church of England, a supplementary information form evidencing faith criteria must be completed.
