SEND Provision

Special Educational Needs (SEN) is implemented through a 3-tiered model: Wave 1 Universal Support (inclusive teaching with flexible grouping, precise instruction, and scaffolding); Wave 2 Targeted Support (group-based interventions); Wave 3 Specialist Support (working with external professionals such as SaLT or Educational Psychologist, possibly EHCPs). Progress is monitored termly and families are involved in assessment and planning. Support is provided within the local authority context and Lyndhurst is part of TCSET.

Admissions Criteria

We are a non-selective and fully-inclusive community school. Pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) will be given special consideration based on their plan, and Looked After Children will also have priority admission. After these, priority is given to siblings of current pupils, and then children based on straight line distance. In-year admissions are handled via a Southwark Council in-year form. Nursery admissions can be made directly to the school.

Financial Information

Wraparound care rates: Breakfast Club runs 7:30- start of school with breakfast included. After School Club runs 15:30-18:00 (nursery 17:30). Daily Rate Year R-6: £17.70 after school; £8.10 before school. Nursery: After School £13.40; before school £11. All clubs (extracurricular) are charged at £55 for a ten-week block, with a 33% discount for pupils in receipt of pupil premium funding. Booking for wraparound and clubs is online.
