Thelwall Infant School promotes the values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs, and emphasises safeguarding and preparing pupils for life in modern, multicultural Britain and globally. Our school policy includes daily collective worship centred around our school values, and RE is provided for all pupils following the Lancashire Agreed Syllabus for RE. Parents may withdraw pupils from RE, and the school aims to develop pupils’ sense of identity and belonging, respect for others, and citizenship in a pluralistic society.
