Ethos & Values

"Jesus light our way on our faith journey. Be our guide, our joy, and our hope, as we learn, live, love and pray together."

Grateful and Generous Attentive and Discerning Compassionate and Loving Faith-filled and Hopeful Eloquent and Truthful Learned and Wise Curious and Active Intentional and Prophetic

Catholic ethos is central to all we do. The school mission states that Christ is at the centre of our work. There are daily acts of collective worship, assemblies, hymn practices, and prayer services. Mass is celebrated every Wednesday afternoon in the school hall, and regular school masses are held at St. Joseph’s Church. The school keeps the Blessed Sacrament on site in a chapel, and there is a shrine to St Joseph and a prayer garden. Father Solomon and Sister Catherine are regular visitors. The school is part of Caritas Christi in Urbe, a group of eight Catholic primary schools, linked to the Birmingham Primary Catholic Partnership.
