Khalsa Primary School is a Sikh School for the whole community, with Sikh ethos built on the three pillars of Sikhism: Kirat Karo (Be honest and work hard), Vand Chako (Share with others), Naam Japna (Meditation). The core principles of Sikhism are promoted at the school.
On behalf of the children, staff and trustees, welcome to Khalsa Primary School. The Headteacher is Mrs Pavin Dhaliwal, who leads the school toward a world-class curriculum within a Sikh ethos and towards developing exemplary citizens.
Nursery: 26 spaces per morning and afternoon session; children start nursery after turning 2; admission to nursery does not guarantee a Reception place. Reception 2026 intake: applications via the Local Authority CAF; Khalsa Primary School’s own Application Form; Sikh-faith applicants may need to complete the SIF; required documents include full birth certificate and proof of residence. In-Year admissions: apply using Khalsa Application Form and any local authority forms; SIF if Sikh. Appeals process: appeals heard on Zoom with a timetable published.
