"Empowering Learners to achieve their dreams"
Waterside aims to empower learners, develop the whole child, maintain inclusivity, embed British Values, and deliver a broad, ambitious 4D curriculum to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.
There is an independent wrap around care provision that operates very close to our school. This provision finishes at 6pm.
Waterside follows Local Authority Admissions Arrangements with an agreed admission number of 60 places per year group (Reception–Year 6) and a 45-place Nursery. Admissions priorities include looked-after children (or those previously looked after), catchment area with an elder/younger sibling attending, other catchment, outside catchment with an elder/younger sibling, and those living nearest to the school. Deferred entry into Reception is possible. Nursery admissions are allocated by the Local Authority with 15 hours free childcare (and some able to access 30 hours) and top-up options.
