If concerns persist, the school may request an Education Health and Care Needs Assessment and, if accepted, an Education Health and Care Plan. Annual reviews are carried out in partnership with families and wider agencies.
The school states that admissions criteria should not discriminate against pupils with SEND and must consider applications from parents of children who have SEND but do not have an EHC plan; must not refuse to admit a child with SEND because they do not have an EHC plan.
