Welcome from the Headteacher: Woodhey High School is presented as an exceptional place to learn and work, with Ofsted Outstanding status for Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes (2025); emphasizes Respect and Excellence as core values and a commitment to high standards and opportunities beyond lessons.
Woodhey provides a Resourced Provision setting for students with Autism, with capacity for up to 15 students. The RP offers a dedicated work station, a quiet and calm environment outside of mainstream classrooms, shared in-class support, a range of interventions, and a Key Worker. The school has SEND Local Offer related information, SENDIA accreditation, and detailed transition and SEND provisions outlined (including Enhanced Transition in Year 6–7 and RP/EHC plan pathways). In July 2024 Woodhey achieved the SEND Inclusion Award (SENDIA).
