St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School has a Catholic ethos. The Priests of the parish are regular visitors to the school to say Mass, hear Confession (Advent, Lent), visit and talk to classes, support the Sacramental Programme and the RE Curriculum. The school is inspected by the Archdiocese and works with the Catholic Primary Partnership to support colleagues with ongoing professional development across the year.
The Head Teacher welcomes visitors and emphasises St Augustine’s as a safe, happy and stimulating Catholic community with a strong partnership with parents and parish. The school aims to foster a life-long love of learning through a broad curriculum called Discovery Learning and maintains an open-door policy.
